Two years ago, an unknown terrorist organisation executed the largest biological attack known to man.
On March 20th, 2012 at precisely 1:30pm the top 5 major airports, Atlanta, Beijing, Dubai, Tokyo and London-Heathrow where smothered in a toxic biological agents. The events that followed, changed the course of history.
It was 24 hours before hospitals had their first patients. The biological agent had entered the systems of the passengers and was mutating and spreading like a virus.
Men, women and children were fleeing to medical centres with many different symptoms. Physical mutations the world had never seen. Wings protruding from peoples backs, eye dilations, claws, talons, fangs...
Within 3 weeks the virus had slipped into the system of 63% of the worlds population, yet only 10% seemed to be developing symptoms.
Panic ensued. Societies from around the world buckled under the constant riots. The global economy crashed, food production stopped and the police and the military patrolled the streets, killing anyone that looked or acted unusual. The nickname "monsters" was given to those who showed symptoms.
It took another two years for society to get back on track and the scars of the anarchy still shows to this day. It was discovered that the virus only seems to affect those with a B-positive blood type and remains dormant in everyone else. Humans were mutating into half monsters and half humans.
"Monsters" were shunned, killed and rounded up until 6 weeks ago, when the Clinic finally opened its doors.
Situated on a small island off the West coast of Mexico, the Clinic was set up by the UN to provide a safe haven for so called "Monsters" while also being a high tech research facility.
Though some volunteered, large propaganda campaigns were set up to convince people segregation and experimentation was the best course of action. Special military groups were deployed to round up those in hiding. Stripped of personal belongings, torn away from family members and taken away from their homes, monsters were herded into the Clinic.
A haven or a prison?
You join us now at the beginning. The clinic has just opened and ready to greet the first of the new members. [/align]
