Site Rules
1. The golden rule applies to all players, guests, and staff: treat others the way you want to be treated. Trolling and player-bashing will not be tolerated.
2. There is no word count.
3. No godmoding. If you don't know what that is, read this helpful article.
4. This RPG is PG-14. As such, graphic depictions of violence, sex, drugs, and excessive profane language are against the rules, and shouldn't be found anywhere on this site. You can go elsewhere and roleplay it, but keep it off the public forums.
5. No killing off characters without the consent of their player.
6. Play-by/face-claims are not mandatory. If you choose to have one though, please check with our Face Claims thread to make sure your preferred claim hasn't already been picked by someone else.
7. Moderators are also the four deities found in the Elementi universe. For any curious Aerrians, Seiryuu prefers offerings of fresh fruit. He's particularly keen towards peaches.
8. No swearing in the cbox.
9. Life happens to everyone. If you're going to leave the site, please make a post in the Absences thread and let us know what should be done with your characters. There won't be any hard feelings. We can either have your characters leave the city or put them up as NPCs (non-adoptable or adoptable) to continue living alongside other characters.
Activity
1. Minimum activity for the forum is 1 post every month. If due to RL reasons you can't make it on the board, just post on the Absences thread with how long you estimate you'll be gone. Please include a rough estimate on how long you'll be gone.
2. Activity checks will be conducted the first of every month. Inactive characters will be sent a PM. If there is no response in 15 days, your character will be marked as inactive on the forums and their application moved to the Inactive Applications subforum.
3. Inactive muses can be taken up again upon your return, by PMing a staff member. If your character is of an important rank however (Priest, Head Clan Family, etc, those where there's a limited number of characters allowed), others will be able to apply to fill the spot you left. Play-bys/face claims go up for grabs a month after the character becomes inactive.
Posting
1. To keep things consistent, please have in thread titles who is invited in each thread. Keep it in brackets. Here are some examples of thread titles:
● A Day at the Park (OPEN)
Open for all characters to join.
● I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy (Kyle, Ryan)
Include the names of those invited to thread with you
● Returning Home (SOLO)
Used for backstory, monologues, or any other thread where your character is by him/herself.
