Current Plot: The Crusaders

Let's watch the city burn...

May 17th, 3AM: A group of Terrans were ambushed while leaving Ignis territory. By the time Keepers reached the scene, the perpetrators had fled, leaving the four young men and women heavily burned. They're rushed to the hospital, where the youngest woman is pronounced dead.

May 19th, 1PM: One of the victims describes their attackers as masked men with the Ignis clan symbol on their sleeves.

May 20th, 9PM: A clan-friendly store in Neutral territory is broken into and vandalized. Scorch marks run along the walls, and ashes litter the floor.

May 21th, 7PM: An Aquarion teenager is locked inside a burning dumpster. Thankfully passerby intervene, though the lone attacker escapes. Witnesses describe him as a young man with his lower face masked and the Ignis clan symbol stitched into the sleeve of his jacket.

May 24th, 10PM: A gang fight breaks out outside a popular bar in Ignis territory. Two bystanders (Aerran) and three Aquarions are sent to the hospital with cuts and second-degree burns.

New York has never been a particularly calm city. When you stick people who could set fire to buildings, start earthquakes, or flood the streets into one city, minor elemental skirmishes are a daily occurrence. But a string of recent gang activity has made walking around at night even more dangerous than usual. Even Neutral territory isn't safe anymore.

Watch your step, or you might get burned.

Plot Information:

The Crusaders have existed on the fringes of Ignis society for years, usually going unnoticed. Self-proclaimed "protectors of the clan", they are in reality little more than a small ten-person gang whose usual activities included heckling and setting garbage cans on fire for scares.

But as of late, they'd started moving on to bigger things. More dangerous things. Rumor has it their leader Peter now has powerful connections somewhere in the clan keeping them out from under the Keepers' radar as they commit their crimes.

Richter would definitely investigate this. Rather than be an accomplice, he'll feel they're giving the Ignis Clan a bad reputation and would want to put a stop to it. However, so it would be discreet, only he would be looking into these attacks and not the whole Brotherhood, plus it'll keep it fair. Despite being an Ignisson, he could become a potential target if he gets too close to uncovering their secrets. c:

Ooo awesome, could definitely see him becoming a target himself at one point >.> Taylor would probably investigate too; he has no love lost for the other clans, but it's still giving Ignis a bad rep. Maybe later on they could work on it together.
